Coarse Hair Care Tips

Here are some coarse hair care tips for managing somewhat wild and unruly hair. Follow these tips and see the difference it makes!
Pick the right shampoo
Select a shampoo that is all natural. These organic shampoos rinse clean and retain the natural softness of your hair. Use creamy shampoos rather than clear ones, and switch the brands of shampoo and conditioner that you use from time to time.
Shampoo infrequently
Avoid daily washing since this strips the natural oils from your hair. Allow time between washings so that the oils from your scalp work all through your hair. These oils keep hair smoother and make it shiny. Shampooing once per week is acceptable as long as your hair does not look overly oily.
Use coconut oil conditioner
Virgin, unprocessed coconut oil is fantastic as a leave-in conditioner. Shampoo your hair as usual and allow it to dry just a little. Apply a pea-sized dollop of coconut oil to the palm of your hands, rub your hands together to melt it and massage the coconut oil through your hair completely. This is particularly useful to avoid the frizzy, dried and fried look that often follows a shampoo.
Develop a beneficial hair care strategy
Never brush your hair when it is wet since this results in damage to the hair and hair loss. Avoid unnecessary blow-drying and straightening. Although your hair looks good immediately after doing this, it dries your hair and damages it. This makes you want to straighten it again, which creates a vicious cycle. Get your hair cut in layers, and get your ends trimmed about 1/2 an inch every four to six weeks.
Dealing with coarse, unruly hair becomes a little easier when you follow these simple tips.
