How to Use Ceramic Hair Straighteners

Do you long for beautiful, straight hair? You can have it. The trick is to learn how to use ceramic hair straighteners, and that is very easy. Continue reading to learn more.
First: Prepare your hair
Shampoo and condition your hair the way you normally do. Next, apply serum to the hair, smoothing it onto each strand. With a paddle brush and a hair dryer set on medium heat, dry your hair thoroughly, using the brush to pull the hair straight as it dries. If your hair is long, it may help to divide your hair into sections and clip them, so that you can concentrate on one section of hair at a time. Meanwhile, your ceramic straightener should be heating up.
Second: Use the straightener
Use your fingers and a comb to gather a section of hair, no more than an inch in width. Clamp the ceramic straightener as close to the top of the hair as possible -- you don't want to burn your scalp. Then pull the straightener down the length of the strand in a smooth, slow motion. Continue this process around your entire head, gathering one inch sections of hair and straightening, until you have straightened all your hair. You may have to run the straightener down some sections two or three times to get the desired effect.
Third: Finish it off
Use the straightener on the ends of the hair to help blend the ends and eliminate any separation that might have occurred while your hair was sectioned with clips. When you have finished, you might also want to spritz a bit of hair spray onto your hair to keep it looking great all day long.
